ACADEMIC PROGRAM
Our academic program based on competencies enables students to be able to relate what they learn at school with what they see in their daily and academic life, thus developing reasoning aimed at solving problems and making decisions.
.
Competency education focuses on learning, not teaching, and its approach is a fundamental tool in our comprehensive training model, as it encourages knowledge, self-training, the training of intellectual skills and, above all, the training of virtues and values.
.
The objective of the educational approach by competencies is for the student to apply their knowledge, skills and attitudes in different contexts or learning environments.
.
To achieve this, different learning methodologies are used, for example: projects, problem-based learning, design in learning environments, case resolution, among others. In all of them, the active and proactive participation of the student is essential, since it must show the integration of intellectual, social, personal and emotional skills.
.
When we speak of competency education, we refer to the type of teaching that helps students to think so that they are good people and act not only for their benefit but also for the benefit of others. We assume that learning is the primary responsibility of the student. We are oriented to project the student as the main protagonist and responsible for their own learning process, guided and motivated by a trainer who will encourage them to give their maximum effort to develop their potentialities.
.
Collaborative work is a fundamental element in our educational model, as it helps students develop skills required in an increasingly globalized society.
